Assignment Details:
• Coverage dates: To be determined

• Pediatric Emergency Department consultations as requested
Clinical Details:
• Care of neonatal patients as premature as 32 weeks gestation

• Pulmonary surfactant administration

• Management of acutely ill newborns

Assignment Details:

Clinical Details:

Procedural Expectations:
• Upper endoscopy

Assignment Details:
• Start: January 2027
• Assignment Length: Approximately 9 months
• Schedule: Approximately 2 Labor & Delivery shifts per week
• Combination of day and night coverage required
• In-house coverage only
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Clinical Setting: Labor & Delivery / Inpatient OB/GYN
Clinical Details:
• Labor & Delivery and postpartum coverage
• Emergent gynecologic OR cases and ED consultations
• Approximately 20 patients per day
• PA and Certified Nurse Midwife support available 24/7
• Additional OB physician coverage available in-house
• PAs assist with triage, admissions, postpartum rounding, ED consultations, and surgical first assist
• EMR: Epic
Requirements:
• Active Massachusetts medical license required
• Board certification in OB/GYN
• Must be comfortable working both day and night shifts
• Comfortable with comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN coverage
• Flu vaccination required
• Epic and OBIX training required
